Common questionsProduct, scope, privacy and access

01What is Exposentra?+

Exposentra is one cybersecurity product available as a mobile app and a full web platform for businesses. It assesses publicly observable security signals associated with authorised domains and public IP addresses, then organises the result into a posture score, findings, technical evidence, alerts and next steps.

02What is available on mobile and on the web?+

The mobile app is the main entry point for new customers and is designed for onboarding, posture, asset status, findings, scan activity and relevant push notifications. The full web platform provides deeper evidence, history, reports, workspace administration, search and support conversations for selected business customers.

03Do mobile and web use the same account and data?+

Yes. The mobile app and web platform are two experiences of the same Exposentra product, using the same organisation workspace, assets, assessments, findings and role-based access.

04What types of assets can I add?+

The current assessment model supports business domains and public IP addresses. Each asset is associated with your organisation workspace and shows its ownership and verification state.

05Why do assets need to be verified?+

Verification helps demonstrate control or authorisation before active assessment. It is an important safety boundary intended to reduce unauthorised use.

06Does Exposentra need access to my internal network?+

No. The platform takes an outside-in view and does not require credentials to your internal network, endpoints, cloud tenant or identity platform for its external assessment.

07Is the assessment intrusive?+

The product is designed as a non-invasive external assessment. It reviews externally visible controls and reachable services; it is not intended to exploit vulnerabilities or perform destructive testing.

08What does a domain assessment review?+

Depending on availability, it may review email-security records such as SPF and DMARC, DNS records and DNSSEC, web responses and common security headers, TLS protocol information, certificate state and related observations.

09What does a public-IP assessment review?+

Depending on reachability, it may review reverse DNS, reachable TCP services, available service information and TLS behaviour on port 443, including protocol, cipher and certificate presence.

10How should I interpret the score?+

Treat the score as a summary signal, not a guarantee or certification. Open the underlying findings, affected assets and recommendations, and consider them in the context of your business and other security controls.

11Will Exposentra tell me how to fix an issue?+

Findings can include clear recommendations and technical context. Some changes should still be planned and validated by an experienced administrator or security professional before implementation.

12Can several people use the same organisation workspace?+

Yes. The platform supports organisation users and role-based access, including read-only access for stakeholders who should see results without running assessments.

13Does it send alerts?+

The platform supports notification preferences and targeted mobile notifications for relevant events such as completed assessments and support updates. Availability depends on the user’s device and notification configuration.

14Does Exposentra replace penetration testing?+

No. It provides a useful external baseline and ongoing visibility, but it does not replace a properly scoped vulnerability assessment, penetration test, internal security review or regulatory audit.

15Is Exposentra already available in the app stores?+

Exposentra is currently in controlled early access. Public mobile-store availability will be announced when release, store review and operational readiness are complete.

16How much will it cost?+

Commercial plans are being finalised. Early-access participants will receive clear information before any paid subscription begins; the service will not silently convert into a paid plan.

17Can I delete my account?+

Yes. Account deletion can be initiated through the account controls. A verified request can also be submitted through the contact channel described on the account-deletion page.

18Who develops Exposentra?+

Exposentra is a product of CyberHunter Ltd, a Cyprus-based cybersecurity business. Product support, privacy enquiries and security reports are handled through the CyberHunter business contact.
